Lightning Fast Ways to Get More Customers

I think it’s important to understand that generating quick ways for your business to make money is different than implementing a long-term strategy that will ensure a steady revenue stream.  With that said, referrals are one of the most effective ways to get new customers, because you are using your existing customers as a shortcut to get new ones. Referrals are likely going to share the same optimal demographics as your target consumer, so they are likely to share buying habits and buying behavior. Just make sure you add a sweetener to any referral through some kind of discount or freebie to motivate your existing customers.

I also think that bundling your products and services with two-for-ones is always a way to get more customers, because price points are one of the main determinants of generating new business. Now the key here is that you can’t slash your prices for more than a very specific amount of time, AND, you should make the offer for new customers only. You don’t get any short-term value in giving price breaks to customers who are already on board. Your goal is to entice fence sitters to get on board right away, so make sure you only offer price promotions to new customers.

Finally, I think it’s important for you to take advantage of big pop culture events that you can market on your social media platforms. For example, we just had the Super Bowl, and that’s a huge event, which you can use to market your products and services to new customers via a promotion or sale tied to the game. Whatever you are selling doesn’t even have to be related to sports. It’s just the mere fact that the Super Bowl is such a big event that lets you attach “Super Bowl Sale,” or “Super Bowl promotion” to your products and services that can gain the attention of people who normally wouldn’t be your normal customers. The same applies for events and dates such as Valentine’s Day, July 4th, and traditional winter holidays.
