How to Optimize Your Website Blog Posts on Your Website to Get More Conversions

Share this:

Blog posts are among the most popular and effective ways of turning your readers into buyers or subscribers. But if you’ve been having problems doing so, you’re not alone. Many bloggers out there just can’t seem to increase their current level of engagement or purchases, even if they have a large audience. So if you find yourself in this predicament, here are a few steps you can do to improve the rate of conversions for your blog posts.

1. Remind them to buy/subscribe/sign up!

Humans are a forgetful bunch. Even if they are interested in what you are selling, they may become distracted and forget all about it. The great thing about this idea is that it is so easy. All you need to do is add a button in the middle and at the end of your blog post. Make sure the language on that button is a command. “Buy my latest course” or “Subscribe for new posts”

2. Sell a lower priced item first

Selling a course or a program is a great way to make money, but you won’t be making any cash if the price is too high. Many people don’t want to spend $100 to $500 with a single click, especially if they do not know how valuable it will be. So why not warm them up with a smaller $5 to $20 item first? Once your reader base knows that you can create a high-quality product, they will be more likely to purchase a higher-ticket item.

3. Show how what you are providing will improve their life

However, do not say something like, “If you buy my book, you’ll learn how to advance your computer programming skills.” Anyone can say that. Instead, say this “If you purchase my book, you can use it to advance your computer programming skills. Your advanced skills will help you find a better job with higher wages, or it will free you from your 9 to 5 so you can become a freelancer and be your boss.” Paint a picture for your reader of what life will be like after they have your product. This will work much better if you know your audience well and know what they seek in their lives.

And there you have it; these steps will help improve your conversions! Now go back to your website and optimize your blog post, and you can see the conversions rolling in!
