First off, go to their website – www.quantcast.com. On the search box at the top part of that site, you can input the website address of your competition. Afterwards, you will be supplied with important information you can use to enhance your own online marketing.

Visitor Traffic
You will see the estimated number of visitors per month a website has. This only applies to the online users in the United States. You can also check more specific time periods: per day, per week, per month, quarterly, bi-annually or annually.
Demographic of Visitors
You will be able to know the sex, age, race, status, family details, financial capabilities and educational attainments of the website’s visitors. Here’s how detailed the information you can get:
- Male or female
- Belongs to what age bracket: 3 to 12, 13 to 17, 18 to 34, 35 to 49 or 50 and above
- If they are Caucasian, African American, Asian, Hispanic or from another race.
- What educational level they have attained: no college, college or graduate school.
- Who has kids and what age bracket they are in: 0 to 2, 3 to 12, 13 to 17.
- Which annual income bracket they belong to: $0 to 30,000, $30,000 to 60,000, $60,000 to 100,000 or over $100,000.
For a general idea of your competition’s visitor’s demographics, you can click on the “Demographics” tab and you will be able to see what demographic categories your competitions are popular with.
This information is very helpful if you want to boost the results of your online marketing. You will be able to customize what your doing with your website so that they will appeal to the people your competitors are targeting.
